Self-taught musician; Played piano in numerous New York clubs like The Bitter End & The Village Gate. Wrote skit for Equity Library Theatre's production of The Sound of Music with special music by Richard Rodgers; ASCAP Award for musical Crossroads Café.
Librettist/lyricist of such musicals as Charlotte Sweet (Drama Desk Award nomination), Tales Of Tinseltown, North Atlantic (Show Business Award), and They Chose Me! His musicals have been produced at Goodspeed, Amas, TADA!, and throughout the U.S.
Two-time Grammy nominee; has been the Music Director/Conductor for numerous Broadway shows, including: Something Rotten!, Elf, Promises, Promises, The Drowsy Chaperone, Thou Shalt Not, The Producers, Dame Edna, The Royal Tour, and Cats.
Broadway: Holiday Inn (Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics, & Chita Awards nominations - for Choreography), Honeymoon in Vegas. Off-Broadway: Piece of My Heart (Lucille Lortel nomination, Calloway Finalist).
